S&A has developed as a key solutions provider in various areas of garment wet processing. Our understanding of the garment sector – both at the macro and the unit level – has helped us to tailor-make our offerings to suit individual requirements. In addition, the global perspective that we have gained due to the international presence of our principals, provides an edge to our customers in the specific areas of our expertise.
S&A has, over the period, grown in terms of size (number of people employed), turnover (doubling every year), space occupied (hence the need to move to a larger office in Y2K), geographical coverage (through direct presence in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Tirupur and Delhi and through distributors in other locations) and number of products handled.
S&A spun off a consulting division - CATALYST CONSULTANTS, in 2002 - which caters to providing technical services to the garment wet processing (GWP) sector. The genesis of Catalyst during the turn of the century, marked the formalization of the services activities of the group.
S&A Impex is a young organisation with an average employee age under 35 years. The team consists largely of professionals with relevant techno-commercial backgrounds. With the core team based in New Delhi, sales team members are located in Tirupur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Ahemdabad with more locations in the offing. S&A Impex has a strong orientation of personnel towards customer servicing, be it through technical, logistical or other means. The key personnel heading various activities in the team include:
An Electronics Engineer by study and an MBA from UCLA, Arvind has been the brainchild behind S&A. He is concurrently the Managing Director of Technopak Advisors Private Limited, the premier management consulting for the textile, garment and retail sector. In 1992, Arvind launched Technopak. Prior to this, he was the Vice President – Marketing with VXL and Sr. Vice President – Marketing with Modern Suiting.
A founding member of S&A, Sarvesh has played a major role in reaching S&A to the position it holds in the chemical industry. He is the oldest member of the team and his contribution as General Manager goes a long way in shaping the future of S&A.

A B.E. in Textile Chemistry from M.L.V. Textile Engineering College, Bhilwara (2001 batch) having experience with Arvind Mills & S.F. Dyes. Sanjay is responsible for sales in the Northern India. He has added a number of new zones and application to the profile of S&A.

Manish a Master in Business Administration and Diploma in Handloom Technology is a right mix of Technical and Commercial knowldge. He has got hands on experience as Product Manager in Yogeshwar Chemicals and with Reid & Taylor as Assistant Manager Dyeing. He is responsible for all new products & developments and managing the sales in western region.

A Software engineer from Aptech, Chetan has been associated with S&A for over 7 years now. He is heading the IT and Logistics Department. He has been instrumental in developing lots of beneficial check systems in S&A and the credit of smooth functioning of IT and Logistics systems goes to him. In addition to this Chetan is looking after Import and Export operations.
